Since Friends was snatched away from us so cruelly I was left wondering how E4 would make up for the loss. Well, it looks like they have found it in brand new sitcom 'New Girl'.
Lead by the wonderful Deschanel, the story about a broken hearted girl and her new roommates is endearing, sweet and most importantly, hilarious. Each character has their own persona, but it works nicely and they all compliment each other brilliantly. Jess (Deschanel) is quirky and slightly odd, Nick (Johnson) is sweet and the most sane/level-headed of the gang, Schmidt (Greenfield) is the womanising, douche bag of the group and Coach (Wayans Jr) is the agressive, fitness mad one. Also we have Jess's best friend, the over protective model, Cece (Simone), and after a cast change (Bye-Bye Damon Wayans Jr) we are introduced to Winston (Morris) the new fitness mad character.

The writing is brilliant and I can really see this being one of the best sitcoms in a long while. I reckon it'll be a hit worldwide, and we will get it over her in November on E4.
