The penultimate film, in the record breaking series has arrived, but with this one being less action packed than it's predecessors, it really shows off some limited acting skills.

It's the day before the wedding and Bella (Stewart) is clearly worried about everything running smoothly. Despite the best efforts of Alice (Greene), she is struggling to come to terms with everything, and that night she has a dream that her wedding is doomed. The next day everybody is running around trying to set everything up perfectly, and whilst Bella is getting ready with Alice and Rosalie (Reed), Edward (Pattinson) is also panicking that this is the right thing for Bella. Everything goes of without a hitch, and just before they set off on their honeymoon, Bella's best friend Jacob (Lautner) arrivesto wish her all the best, despite his undying love for her. But when he realises they plan to consumate the marriage, he flips out leaving Bella distraught and feeling alone. She picks herself up and the newlyweds set off on their honeymoon to Isle Esme, and that night they do the nasty. A few weeks later she starts to feel ill, suddenly realising she is pregnant, cutting their holiday short. It is when they return they realise the severity of the situation, and that Bella may not survive the birth of the vampire inside of her. When word gets round to the werewolf pack they decide for the safety of the world theyy must kill Bella and the baby, meaning the Cullens and Jacob must pull together to protect the on they love.

Synopsis out of the way let's get on to the issues I have with this film. For all Twi-Hards that i'm probably about to offend, let me say I do like the film series, but this was crap. First off, the hype they created about the sex scene and birth scene, and then when it arrived there was nothing that interesting at all, no passion, nothing graphic and nothing that really got a reaction out of me. Also the script this time around seemed overly contrived and cliched, it was full of sap and weak dialogue, and each time another line was spewed from their mouth's I felt more and more nauceous each time. Also, I get that Bella is scared, but smile for christ sake, you just got married.

Like I mentioned at the beginning the acting, especially from the main trio, was near to appalling. Lautner just kept scowling and pouting at the camera, Stewart looked like something had just slapped her across the face over and over again, and Pattinson was just dull and brought nothing new or fresh to the character. All in all I really hope that Part 2 brings a whole lot more to the table, because if it's like Part 1 I will scream, kind of like the middle aged woman that kept whooping everytime 19 year old Lautner took his shirt off, or was just on screen (a bit disturbing, if I'm honest).

The script was bad, the acting was bad and the only thing that was vaguely good was the directing. It kept the same feel as before but still remaining fresh and new, and considering the bland and boring script/acting, that is quite an achievment. The film is out now, and if I'm completely honest, don't go watch it, unless you are fans of the series, because let's face it, you probably have already seen it.
