I only watched this film for the first time this week, but it was so warm and lovely, that I had to include it. It's sweet story and festive setting puts right up there with all of my favourites.

We follow as an angel helps a compassionate but despairingly frustrated businessman (James Stewart) by showing what life would have been like if he never existed. His costars, including Donna Reed, Lionel Barrymore and Henry Travers all bring the magical story to life, and play their roles brilliantly.
