A trailer for Hope Springs has been released.The movie focuses on Meryl Streep and Tommy Lee Jones, they play a long-married couple who are struggling with intimacy. Kay (Streep) convinces the reluctant Arnold (Jones) to join her for a visit to a couples specialist (Steve Carell) in the town of Great Hope Springs, but progress is harder than either Kay or Arnold imagined.
Directed by David Frankel and written by Vanessa Taylor, the film also features Elisabeth Shue and Jean Smart .
Originally rumoured to star Jeff Bridges as Arnold and Philip Seymour Hoffman as the therapist, I personally much prefer the casting of Jones and Carell, and cannot wait to see how their performances will play out.
Hope Springs will debut in cinemas on August 10.

I hope this movie is not a conventional chick flick and it finds them splitting up in the end to go out and find the happiness they deserve...
