RIP - Robin Gibb

It is with much sadness that I am now telling you that famous singer, and ex-BeeGee's star, Robin Gibb has passed away.

Aged just 62, he unfortunately lost his lengthy battle with colon and liver cancer and passed away earlier this evening.

Gibb's family released a statement saying:

"The family of Robin Gibb, of the Bee Gees, announce with great sadness that Robin passed away today following his long battle with cancer and intestinal surgery. The family have asked that their privacy is respected at this very difficult time."

Most famous for his famous boyband, which he starred opposite his brothers in. The BeeGee's have created some of the most loved and remembered songs of all time, including Night Fever, How Deep Is Your Love, and More Than A Woman.

They are also well known for their contribution to the popular Saturday Night Fever soundtrack.

You'll be missed by millions of fans around the world, goodbye Robin Gibb.
