Biel stars as Julia Denning, a single mother who moves to a small town where several children have mysteriously gone missing. When her child then goes missing, she looks to unravel the legend of the Tall Man, an entity who allegedly abducts the children.
The film has been written and directed by Pascal Laugier, and will also star Jodelle Ferland, Samantha Ferris, William B Davis and Stephen McHattie.
The Tall Man is due for release on August 31 in the US.
