Netflix's Gilmore Girls revival finally has a full trailer.
It has been 9 years since the original Gilmore Girls left our screens, and it is true what they say, absence truly makes the heart grow fonder. Now, if I am totally honest I have only recently become a fan, binge watching the whole series over the summer break and currently rewatching ready for their return, but I am gagging for new episodes, so lord only know how the fans of the original run are feeling.
The trailer shows the three Gilmore Girls Emily, Lorelai (Kelly Bishop, Lauren Graham & Alexis Bledel) and Rory living their usual fast-paced lives and instantly I was filled with pure joy. You also get glimpses of all of the other fan favourites including Rory's three love interests (Jared Padalecki, Milo Ventimiglia & Matt Czuchry) and Lorelai's best friend Sookie (Melissa McCarthy). More upsettingly you also get a glimpse of the Gilmore Girls mourning the loss of their Patriarch, Richard Gilmore (actor Edward Herrmann sadly passed away in 2014).
Also amongst the long list of returnees are Scott Patterson, Keiko Ageno, Yanic Truesdale & Liza Weil, and of course some new characters come in the form of Sutton Foster and Christian Borle. The revival, set around the four seasons, has been once again written by Amy Sherman-Palladino.
Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life is released on Netflix November 25, 2016.
