Short Film - Borrowed Time

From Pixar animators, Andrew Coats and Lou Hamou-Lhadj, comes Borrowed Time,a harrowing short film that follows a down-trodden cowboy, returning to the location of a terrible accident that changed his life forever. Borrowed Time is a much darker and far more adult film, so despite the Pixar visuals, it is not necessarily for children.

Hamou-Lhadj actually stated:
"A goal for us was to make something that kind of contested the notion of animation being a genre, and one for children specifically. We really wanted to make something that was a little bit more adult in the thematic choices, and show that animation could be a medium to tell any sort of story."
It is visually spectacular, deeply moving and truly beautiful; and it uses little to no dialogue and is under 10 minutes long. It truly gives the opening scene of Up a run for its money.
