Finally it is here, the first look at Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
Now I am not the biggest Star Wars fan, but even I can appreciate the excitement that this trailer brings to the world. While little is still known about the story for the latest instalment, the trailer gives us a lot of snippets and information to digest. Rey training with a lightsaber and using the force, and a Resistance base under attack, leaving Poe in danger.
Strangely nothing is shown of Carrie Fisher as General Leia, with this being the last film she ever made. However, according to her brother Todd Fisher, General Leia will appear in Episode IX, with scenes from this film being used in that film instead.
Returning to the Star Wars saga is Mark Hamill, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Issac, Adam Driver, Lupita Nyong'o, Gwendoline Christie, Domhnall Gleeson, Andy Serkis, with new cast members including Benicio Del Toro and Laura Dern.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi is set for worldwide release In December, on the 15th for UK and US.
