The trailer provides a further look at the eagerly-awaited Batman sequel, which will bring an end to Christian Bale and director Christopher Nolan's era of the popular superhero franchise.
Gary Oldman, Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman will reprise their roles in The Dark Knight Rises, while Tom Hardy (Bane), Anne Hathaway (Catwoman), Joseph Gordon-Levitt (John Blake) and Marion Cotillard (Miranda Tate) are newcomers to the blockbuster series.
The Dark Knight Rises opens in cinemas on July 20, 2012.
