Coming-of-age drama, Yelling to the Sky's trailer has been unveiled.
In this gripping urban drama, 17-year old
Sweetness O’Hara (Zoe Kravitz), the daughter of an African American mother and a white
father, is struggling to find her place in a rough inner city
neighbourhood. Her father is either absent or abusive; her mixed race
background makes her an outsider; and drugs and violence are always around.
Sweetness finds herself in a downward spiral of drug dealing,
shoplifting and fights with a bully (Gabourey Sidibe) before a series of events leads her to rethink her life and to
explore her options for a fresh start.
The film also stars Tim Blake Nelson, Tariq Trotter, Yolonda Ross, Shareeka Epps, Jason Clarke & Antonique Smith; Victoria Mahoney directs.
A release date is yet to be given.
