Next year sees the battle of two hollywood films based around the age old fairytale, Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. Next up we have Mirror Mirror, a slightly more family friendly looking version of the magical tale. My issue with this is the fact that it looks like a film made by a wannabe Tim Burton, and a not very good wannabe at that, although judging by the trailer, it looks like it is from the Queen's point of view, which might be aninteresting twist.
Lily Collins plays Snow White, Julia Roberts the Queen, Nathan Lane the Huntsman, Sean Bean the King and Armie Hammer the Prince. It will probably be enjoyed more by a younger audience, but looking at it as an adult, I think I'll watch the other one. It is released in the UK on 16/03/12.
