Prometheus has released a new three-minute trailer.
The latest teaser for Ridley Scott's forthcoming science fiction movie premiered last night in the UK during the first break for Channel 4's Homeland. In a worldwide first, viewers were encouraged to post their reactions on Twitter using the hashtag #areyouseeingthis.
The trailer caused quite a fuss on twitter, with everybody from celebrities to film geeks freaking out at what could be one of this years most successful films.
The film tells the story of a group of explorers who uncover clues to the origin of man on a distant alien planet. The film is set in the same universe as Scott's 1979 classic Alien.
Charlize Theron, Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender and Idris Elba feature in the cast for Prometheus , which debuts in UK cinemas on June 1 and June 8 in the US.
