A new trailer for upcoming drama The Master has been released.
The brand new trailer features fresh footage from the highly-anticipated movie, which has caused much controversy before of its release due to its possible similarities to Scientology. Joaquin Phoenix stars in the film as a troubled World War II veteran who joins a religious group/cult lead by a charming and sophisticated author, played by Academy Award winner Phillip Seymour Hoffman.
The Master, which is directed by Paul Thomas Anderson and co-stars Amy Adams, Laura Dern and Rami Malek, has sparked some controversy as Hoffman's character is said to parallel the Church of Scientology founder L Ron Hubbard.
The Master is scheduled for release in the US on October 12. It will open on November 9 in the UK.
