The film will follow Abraham Lincoln as the Civil War continues to rage on. America's president struggles with
continuing carnage on the battlefield and as he fights with many inside
his own cabinet on the decision to free the slaves.
Daniel Day-Lewis will portray Lincoln, with a supporting cast including, Sally Field, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Tommy Lee Jones, Jackie Earle Hayley, Lee Pace, James Spader and David Oyelowo.
Lincoln is set for a US release on November 16, and a UK release on January 25 2013.
