Last Halloween I
did a countdown of my top 5 horror films of all time; well this year I
am going to do a countdown, but rather than my favourites of all time, I
am going to look at my favourites of this Halloween season...Next up, House at the End of the Street.
Newly divorced Sarah (Shue) and her daughter Elissa (Lawrence) find the house of their
dreams in a small, upscale, rural town. But when the dark secret of their new neighbour is revealed to them, they become uneasy about their new surroundings. As Elissa settles in and befriends local loner Ryan (Thieriot), strange things begin to happen, and Elissa may soon find her self in more dnager than she could ever expect.
House at the End of the Street is a brilliant horror, that combines a wicked script with some talented acting. A lot of thought has clearly gone into making this film, and it really is evident with each scare the audience receives, and of course the epic plot twist at the end.
